TRIPsters Make Impressive Showings at Scientific Conferences
Haley Johnson Bishop and Dr. Despina Stavrinos
Haley Johnson Bishop presented a research poster, Social Skill Deficits in Adolescents with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and won 1st Place (which included $100) for the Clinical Topics Section of the Simpson Ramsey Poster Competition. This symposium presents the latests findings on various topics regarding developmental and intellectual disabilities. Haley’s presentation was based on her UAB Civitan funded work. Caitlin Pope at the 11th Annual MHRC Conference
Fellow TRIPster, Caitlin Pope, recently presented her work on HIV and driving at the UAB Minority Health Research Center annual conference. The Annual MHRC conference is known for showcasing compelling workshops and groundbreaking findings of eminent researchers in the health disparities field.
