Post-Baccalaureate students have completed a Bachelor’s degree and are taking additional coursework to expand their academic experience. Oftentimes, post-bacc students are preparing for entry into a graduate or medical program.

Inaara Rajpari Post-Baccalaureate Research AssistantInaara is a post-baccalaureate student assisting in the UAB Trip Lab as a research assistant. She joined the UAB Trip Lab in Fall 2020. Not only is she learning the tenets of research through various projects being conducted in the lab, but she is also able to assist with data entries and outreach initiatives. Inaara graduated from UAB in May 2020 and is applying to medical school to fulfill her dream of becoming a physician!
I have gotten the privilege to join this team of translational research even in the middle of a pandemic!

Claire Stewart Post-Baccalaureate Research Assistant
Claire Stewart is a graduate of UAB with BAs in both Political Science and Theatre. After graduating, she decided to pursue a future in psychology. Claire joined the TRIP Lab as a research assistant in January 2022, has worked on AUTOSPAN and REACT, and assists with the Outreach Program.

Kaiden Kennedy Post-Baccalaureate Research Assistant
Kaiden Kennedy is a native of Jasper, AL, and graduated from UAB with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2022. She plans to go on to medical school in the future. Kaiden enjoys the new skills she is acquiring through work with the TRIP Lab and hopes to continue her work well into the future.
