Monday, April 18: Dr. Stavrinos was interviewed by UAB Media and TRIP Lab work was featured in TEEN VOGUE!
Tuesday, April 19: The Grand Opening of the UAB TRIP Lab’s State-of-the-Art Driving Simulator Laboratory.
Wednesday, April 20: Dr. Stavrinos and Undergraduate Assistant Morgan Parr were interviewed by Fox 6 news for their recently published work linking personality and distracted driving.
Thursday, April 21: Dr. Stavrinos presented at the Simpson Ramsey Conference on UAB Campus regarding her work on Developmental Disabilities and Driving, Haley Johnson Bishop presented a poster on her UAB Civitan funded work, and Caitlin Pope presented her work on HIV and driving at the UAB Minority Health Research Center annual conference
Friday, April 22: Dr. Stavrinos presented at the UAB Computer and Information Sciences seminar on Technological Innovations to Understand and Prevent Motor Vehicle Crashes.
Whew! I’m exhausted just typing that out!
Dr. Stavrinos and the TRIPsters are performing amazing, cutting edge research. Their efforts are being recognized by many widely varied mediums both locally, nationally, and internationally.
