Lab Manager

Ariel Kidwell, MA is the active Lab Manager for the UAB TRIP Lab. She graduated in 2017 with her Master’s Degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Concentration. With her strong background in human subjects research, Ariel decided to pursue her passions by working in psychology research. Working at the TRIP Lab affords her the opportunity to work closely with the community, while staying true to her pursuit of understanding psychological health and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge that facilitates systemic change in society.

Working with Dr. Stavrinos has been a pleasure. She is not only a fantastic mentor, but is also a very thoughtful and judicious person by nature. She leads by example. Her experience, as well as her compassionate desire to make a difference in the community, has inspired me to be a leader. This research is cutting edge – and is spearheaded by an amazing investigator and team.
