Community Outreach Coordinator

Sarah Brinkley is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the UAB TRIP Lab. She has a BA in English and a minor in Psychology, with plans to pursue an advanced degree in the latter. After 12 years in the human resources field with a focus on employee relations, Sarah is excited to be able to transition to work that reflects her interest in developmental psychology. The Lab’s unique combination of research and community impact is especially appealing to her. Mrs. Brinkley is also assisting the University of Alabama’s Institute for Social Science Research in conducting a study of how adolescents’ interest in STEM fields may be affected by their peer groups and by gender stereotypes.
